0:16.2	you? Do you have a tongue problem? Here's a test. Can you go 24 hours without
0:21.1	complaining, criticizing, gossiping, condemning, saying anything unkind, lying,
0:26.0	deceiving, or using words that are impatient or angry.
0:30.0	There was a rabbi who, when he speaks to a group
0:32.6	ask them if they can go 24 hours
0:34.7	without saying unkind words about or to another person.
0:38.5	A small number of listeners usually say,
0:40.6	yes they can, others laugh,
0:42.3	and a large number call out and say well of
0:44.3	course not and then the rabbi responds he says those who can't answer yes
0:48.6	must recognize that they have a serious problem if you cannot go 24 hours without drinking alcohol, you have an
0:54.6	alcohol problem. If you cannot go 24 hours without smoking, you have a nicotine problem. If you
0:59.8	cannot go 24 hours without saying unkind words, then you have a tongue problem.
1:04.8	There's probably no greater consistent evidence of our need for grace than how we talk.
1:10.1	We need the forgiveness grace offers and its power to transform us.
1:15.1	Our talk is important because God talks.
1:17.8	The first thing God does in the Bible is he speaks.
1:20.7	He says, let there be light. Our words are important because God created them. Human beings
1:27.0	are made in the image of God. We talk because he does. Words mark the most important moments in our life.
