From the headquarters of the Guild of Champions, this is the Becoming Thin podcast, and I am your host, Chris Terrell, and welcome to another week of your weight loss quest. How did this last week go for you, Champion?

Now, if you're new year, I've lost 125 pounds myself after an entire adulthood of chronic yo-yo dieting.

Up, down, up, down again, then back up, before I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired,

and I made some permanent, meaningful, and actual changes to my lifestyle, habits, routines,

environment, community, and to my systems of belief. Because it's all of those things that created me and it's all of those things that create you too. And if you want to get results that last and stick forever, you can't just go on a diet. No, no, no. You got to go change all six of those things in some way. I'm telling you, I've done it. I've lost the weight. When I look at my

life now and I look at my habits, my lifestyle, my routines, they do not match what I used to

do over six years ago for decades. If you look at my environment, it does not match the environment

that I lived in for decades. If you look at my community, I do not have the same community, I don't interact with my community

the same as I used to for many decades.

And of course my belief systems, the way I look at myself, the way I look at the world,

what I accept to be true, would I think to be false, that has also changed as well.

And I changed these things to be in alignment with what I want, with the kind of person I want to be, with the life I want to live and the body that I want to do it in.

And you can do this too.

You can live the life you want to live in the body you want to live, but not without doing the work, not without actually making some changes to your life.
