| 0:14.0 | Today on the show, I'm going to talk about just the importance of whenever you're on a path of development or growth or changing your life in some way. |
| 0:25.0 | How crucial it is to be mindful of the people that you're around, who's in your life, who is your points of contact, your friendship, your people that you're spending time with, and how that affects your growth journey. |
| 0:43.0 | A friends, this podcast is brought to you by Athletic Greens. I take AG1 by Athletic Greens because I'm always looking for the best supplements out there that will help boost energy, support your immune system, and get you all those vitamins that you need to feel good and to be able to be as effective as you can throughout the day. |
| 1:06.0 | I have tried a lot of stuff on the market out there over the years in AG1 by Athletic Greens is by far the most effective and the best supplement that I have taken so far to get all my vitamins, get that boost energy, and that extra mental clarity. |
| 1:22.0 | I take AG1 in the morning before working out right after I have my coffee and it really makes me feel a difference. |
| 1:30.0 | Like I notice if I don't take it, I feel a lot more tired, sluggish, and if I do, I definitely have a sense of boost energy that not only lasts through my workout but also throughout the rest of the day. |
| 1:44.0 | AG1 is also super easy to take, you just throw one scoop into some water once a day, it's really an easy and just seamless daily habit to get into that has a big physical and mental payoff. |
| 1:57.0 | If you're looking for a simpler and cost effective supplement routine, Athletic Greens is giving a free one year supply of vitamin D which I have and I take all the time, love that, and five free travel packs with your first purchase. |
| 2:12.0 | So go to AthleticGreens.com slash astral, that's AthleticGreens.com slash astral, check it out. |
| 2:21.0 | You know, whenever we're younger, we're really looking to try and fit in, to have a good time, to connect with people, to not feel alone, to find people who want to go out and get into stuff with. |
| 2:33.0 | And you know, that's cool, it's like I certainly was doing that. |
| 2:38.0 | And whenever I was in my 20s a lot, just trying to kind of go out and hang out at all costs, just have a good time, you know. |
| 2:47.0 | And like while that serves its purpose, in the sense that you're getting out there, you're getting socialized, you're getting life experience and most importantly, you're having a good time. |
| 2:59.0 | Like as I got a little older anyway, I started realizing how who I was hanging out with was affecting kind of the direction of my life in a lot of ways. |
| 3:10.0 | And you know, that's one of the things that was a big change for me, it was a big change. |
| 3:16.0 | And whenever I started like tending to the garden of who I was around, because when if you're hanging out with anyone at all costs, you are inheriting some of their habits, you know, like the type of stuff that they want to get into that you may not want to get into, because you're hanging out with them, you'll end up like with one foot in that world, you know. |
| 3:45.0 | And some of those behaviors can be very blatantly destructive or toxic or just pulling you away from where you're trying to go. Like for example, if you're, you have a friend that you go out with all time, you have some drinks and they every once in a while getting to kind of a weird dark mood where they get really aggressive or they just, you know, go down, go down a negative path like that. |
| 4:14.0 | Or they even get really like self destructive and then you're there to like trying to take care of them or something like that. |
| 4:20.0 | Or if they get kind of into a weird negative mind state and it just sort of like pulls you into it as well and you start trying to just match their mindset, because you're trying to like connect, but then you end up shifting really who you are in this weird way to get into their zone, because you want to be out there and you want to be like connecting and doing something. |
| 4:44.0 | You know, that's an important thing to watch. And also, you know, people who just have a habit of speaking like really negatively, like some people that you'll be around, you know, you hang out and they're just always criticizing everything, they're talking, you know, negatively about other people, they're talking negatively about themselves, all that type of stuff. |
| 5:05.0 | They're kind of have a defeatist mindset, you know, any of these things, like if you, if you start paying attention, you'll notice that there are people probably like that in your life. |
