Well today we're going to talk about being a YouTuber and how hard it is being a YouTuber.

No, that's not what we're talking about today.

Just kidding.

Today we're going to talk about the fact that despite having over 7 million subscribers

and your own nail polish line, Christine continues to work a regular 9-5 day job as a

crime statistics analyst for the Canadian government.

I will fight for my right to be a normal person.

Yeah, well we'll get into the psychological reasons Christine continues to work but this

is something we get a lot of questions about.

You get a lot of questions about because it's a pretty unique thing to have as much YouTube

fame as you have while continuing to work a 9-5 normal day job.

Yeah, and I guess first I should start off by saying like why are we even doing this

podcast because as you guys are familiar with a lot of YouTubers, they put themselves

online.

The story and what they do with their lives is kind of becomes their channel and their content.

For me a huge part of my life is my day job that you don't really see in my content obviously

because I'm not bringing my camera to the government for obvious reasons.

So sometimes like I don't want people to think that I or Ben or together we think of ourselves

as like better than other YouTubers because we have a day job and because we occasionally
