0:38.1	But I'll just like to give a quick bio of Dr. Ngu, because you guys out there, you know

0:46.3	So Dr. Ngu is an important government figure for public health here in Canada.
0:52.0	We see him on the TV pretty much every day when we tune into press conferences, but I'll
0:56.8	just read a little bit of his bio to give you some background.
0:59.6	So Dr. Ngu is the Deputy Chief Public Health Officer at the Public Health Agency of Canada.
1:05.2	He's a federal government employee who directly supports the Chief Public Health Officer
1:09.8	in providing public Health advice to Canadians.
1:12.8	In addition to just working for the government, he's also worked as a public health physician,
1:18.6	a medical epidemiologist and a frontline clinician in infectious diseases for almost 30 years.
1:25.2	He's been involved in the government of Canada's response to outbreaks before, like SARS
1:29.8	in 2003 and H1N1 in 2009, as well as some international experience advising Guinea after
1:37.8	the Ebola outbreak in 2015.
