And why your greatest adversary is the person staring back at you in the mirror.

Thank you. All right. So let's talk about comparison. And why using that as a gauge or litmus test to define your own life, your own progress and your own success. It's just, it's not,

well, it's unnecessarily discouraging. And there's a few reasons for that. But I'll back up a second. This comes from Lucas, who says, hey, Eddie, hope you're having an amazing week. Could you

talk about comparing yourself to those around you in your next podcast?

Long story short, there's a place to do it.

It's very small.

Like the 99% rule is don't.

It's discouraging.

You set your rules.

Nothing is more important than your journey, your goal, beating who you were yesterday.

Your greatest opponent's going to be the one looking at you in the mirror, right?

No one that you're comparing yourself to is going to get you up when the alarm clock goes off.

No one that you're comparing yourself to is going to make you work.

You know, that all comes from you. And not only that, we have a tendency to create narratives and

storylines that simply aren't real. Like, we look out and we think that everyone's being success or everyone is successful.

Everyone is quote unquote succeeding, whatever that means to you. Because I think social media has a

big role in this, they show their highlight real. And that's all you receive. Right. You are,

you are judging your behind the scenes,

your work in progress, as the famous quote says,
