0:07.0	I have a funny old quote for you today that I really like from the one and only
0:15.8	Abraham Lincoln. Now there are a couple of different versions of this quote so so I'm just gonna say the most simple one,

0:31.0	how many legs a dog has if you count the tail as a leg.
0:36.7	Right? So think about that for a second. Let me put that to you. How many legs does a dog have if you

0:45.0	When they answered five, Lincoln told them that the answer was four. The fact that you called the tail a leg does not make it a leg.
1:00.0	What does this mean? Oh, so many interpretations!
1:05.0	But I would like to share with you that what this means to me
1:09.0	is frankly exercising some modest doubt in your life, right?
1:16.3	There are no two ways about it.
1:18.3	There is plenty of exaggeration, hyperbole,
1:21.6	frankly lies, scams in the world, we have to trust our own judgment and intuition
1:29.3	when we're being told something.
1:32.3	So think about that.
1:34.0	Trust overall is something that must be earned,
1:38.5	not just automatically given.
1:41.2	And I've learned this the hard way. I have to admit that my tendency is to blindly trust that everyone's
1:49.3	selling the truth, everyone has good intentions, what everyone says is what's real and why wouldn't that be the case.
2:00.0	And overall, in my opinion, it still is better to go through life as a trusting person.
