many screens, many screens. Mary Catherine Hamm, thank you so much for joining us. Glad to be here. Thank you for having me.

Mary Catherine, before we recorded this, I was actually thinking about what I think was the first time we met like 20 years ago now.

Probably. It had to have been just about 20 years ago because I was working as an editor at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, CEI. And I knew who you were when you showed up at the office

because this was 2005, 2006, and you were already doing online video. This was like YouTube

was barely a year old. But like you're like the OG of doing online video. Here we are still

20 years later. We have finally caught up with you. Do you have lessons, tips for success?

My lesson is had I stuck with my YouTube channel, I'd probably be a lot better off now.

But I, being me, was like, this is very hard. Video editing is terrible and kind of abandoned that

at some point. And now it's so easy to make video, it almost makes me angry, thinking about how much I did back then.

Don't be angry about this.

Be happy that you were there.
