Hi, welcome back to the Personality Hacker Podcast. My name is Joel Mark Witt.

0:07.8

And I'm Antonia Dodge. Today we're going to actually continue what's developed into an informal series for us.

0:14.9

We've been talking about some of the cognitive functions in the Myers-Briggs system and talking

0:19.5

about why the world needs them.

0:20.8

We've talked about introverted sensing, and we've talked about introverted thinking and we realized well

0:25.8

let's just kind of keep going. There's eight total functions. We've already covered two.

1:16.5

1:19.6

because it's very easy to not like that function.

1:22.3

It's easy to like that function in concept. I find

1:25.7

that we like characters on TV that have that function because we like you sort of

1:30.3

of their brash sassiness and their radical honesty.

1:34.4

And then when we get that function in real life,

1:37.0

it feels kind of spiky and we don't particularly like it.
