The race is on. And with F1 enjoying a brief pause before the geographically troubling

triple header that takes in Mexico, Brazil and Qatar, there's plenty of big stories for

us to catch up on. First and foremost, what's going on with the mooted Andretti takeover of Sauba,

and is a proper

American team really that important for F1? I'm Ed Sture and joining me to tackle those questions,

and many more, are Scott Mitchell and Mark Hughes. Well, Scott, how are you doing? I guess

you're preparing to board your lengthy flight to Mexico. Yeah, I am, I've basically been mentally preparing for a few

days now of the idea of going to Mexico itself is not less of an issue, but you, you politely

referred to it as, was it geographically challenging, geographically demanding triple header. That is a very generous way of putting it. It's the, I think I worked it out. And in total, with all the flights and stuff like this, it's like two days of my life that are going to be spent on airplanes over the next three and a bit weeks. But can't complain. Very privileged to be in this position. Actually, really looking forward to going back out to that part of the world again.

But let's just say the process of getting there is not the most exciting part of the job.

Yeah, that's the advantage I've got.

I'm at least in the area, relatively speaking, still a few hours away.

Do you want, is this your opportunity to tell the listeners about exactly where you are and what you've been doing? Because I feel like you're absolutely bursting to be able to say. Well, I'm having a lovely time. I'm in Arizona. I'm in Flagstaff, Arizona, to be precise. So a bit to the south of the Grand Canyon. So I thought I'd stay out in the region and have a few days to look around the place.

So yeah, went to Phoenix, had a look around there.

I did briefly drive around the old F1 track.

Most of it is there.

They have built on a little bit of it, but you can do most of it.

It's not the most inspiring of old F1 tracks to visit, should we say,

because it is just a classic American city grid system.

But it's nice to do that.

And yeah, so I've been driving around.
