Summary

In today’s episode, I’m joined by Deatrich Wise, New England Patriots defensive end and Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee. We talk about what it means to be recognized for service beyond the field, the impact of his Wise Up Foundation, and the lessons he’s carried from his family and mentors. He shares how he’s learned to balance giving with receiving, the books that have shaped his leadership approach, and why strong locker room culture extends beyond football. We also discuss the power of education, community, and the role mentorship plays in creating lasting change.
