| 0:56.6 | years. And I see a lot of people blaming it on seed oils or chemicals in our food or food dyes or any |
| 1:05.9 | number of other factors. And I want to discuss what the science shows about what's really contributing to |
| 1:12.2 | that increase in obesity on a population level. And then on an individual level, I talk to so |
| 1:17.0 | many people who are carrying more body fat than they like to and they don't really understand why. |
| 1:22.6 | And I'm going to break down those reasons why in this podcast because it's usually some of the exact same reasons. |
| 1:30.3 | And oftentimes people think it's their hormones or they think it's their metabolism or they |
| 1:35.9 | think they're just getting older and that's causing their metabolism to slow down or whatever the |
| 1:40.9 | case may be. We're going to talk about what those real reasons typically are. |

| 1:48.9 | and that's going to be the societal level weight changes that have occurred over the last 50 years. |
