You can have years worth of great progress. And as soon as you become undependable for people,

it can be really hard to shovel your way back out of that.

Welcome everyone to another Midweek Modern Craftman. I'm excited about this conversation today.

It has to do with dependability.

And on this podcast on the main modern craftsman podcast,

we talk a lot about leadership,

we talk about craftsmanship, communication,

but none of that means anything

if people can't count on you or if you can't

count on other people. Dependability is that invisible backbone behind every strong business,

every relationship, every team. It's not about being perfect. It's about being predictable

in the best way. People should not about being perfect. It's about being predictable in the best way.

People should not have to worry or wonder if you'll do what you said you do.

In construction, dependability might look like showing up when you said you would.

In life, it might be being present for your family or keeping your word to a friend.

We'll talk about dependability in three ways.

Who you are, which is your character, how you operate in business, and how you show up for

yourself.

Because when those three things align, you become the kind of person people trust without
