On today's show, we're going to take a look at some of the highlights from the NFL scouting combine. A couple of notable performances yesterday from defensive end prospects who the Jets have their eye on with the second overall pick.

But most of our attention is going to be on the big trade the Jets made yesterday,

sending Jermaine Johnson to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for defensive tackle to Vondres wet.

In a little bit, I'm going to join my colleague Tyler Rowland, the host of Locked-on Titans for a crossover discussion.

You'll get a Jets perspective and a Titans perspective on this trade. But I'm going to begin by telling you why I think this move was the

correct one for the Jets. And it brings me no joy to say that because I really liked Jermaine Johnson.

And I think that there's a lot of sadness in the Jets fan base today because the team traded Jermaine.

And that's natural.

Jermaine Johnson's the type of player, a fan comes to love, a guy you drafted in the first

round, a guy who had some degree of success with your team, a guy who's been nothing but a class

act.

People have nothing but good things to say about him in the locker room.

And he's expressed that he

wanted to spend his career in New York with the Jets. This is the kind of guy you hope it works out

for. And when it doesn't work out, and when your team trades a guy like this, it stinks.

It's not a happy day. Even if you think the move was a correct one, I think that you likely were a little bit sad yesterday.
