Let's talk about Mexico first because that one's interesting, right?

The cartel, Mexico usually does nothing to the cartel because it's like they kind of run the country a bit.

And then obviously you have a lot of experience in the underground scene.

So like what do you think of all that?

Well, you know, it kind of hit us hard because we have a condo that we frequent in,

Puerto Vallata. Okay. And always looked at that as being one of the safest places in all

of Mexico, just a really nice tourist, calm town, and, you know, when violence broke out in

Puerto Vallata, we were like stunned, really. Yeah. And, you know, I always get asked, what's the difference between the cartels and the mafia

here in America?

And there's a huge difference.

First of all, we were never in the drug business.

You know, there were certain guys doing drugs, but we weren't anywhere near with the cartels

that as far as drugs concerned. We weren't, in my, during my era, if we dealt with drugs, but we weren't anywhere near with the cartels that as far as drugs

concerned. We weren't, in my, during my era, if we dealt with drugs, we got killed. We weren't

allowed to deal with drugs. There was no comparison, and we had a lot of control in this country,

obviously, but not in the same way that the cartels have control. They're a paramilitary group.

I mean, they can wage war with the government. We couldn't

do that. So, you know, to a great degree, they do have a lot of influence and control in the country.

And I think for the most part, the Mexican government really doesn't want to mess with them

because they know it's going to be a war and it's going to be very unsettling and people are going

to die in their country.

The United States is putting a lot of pressure on them now because the drugs coming into this country. So, you know, I think after they got Elmancho, the cartels wanted to show them, hey,
