in Austin, Texas, where I've been joined by a good friend, Father David Michael Moses, who

doesn't really need any sort of introduction as far as social media presence is concerned. He is

from the Galveston, Houston, Archdiocese, and you're in your early

30s, and you are on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and what else?

We're just trying to bring the gospel to all the ends of the earth, and right now

the internet's just a really effective way of doing that. So I'm on TikTok, YouTube is a great

place to be. So just really trying to go wherever the lost sheep are. And not only are you a priest since 2019,

but you're also a musician, and you do performances in what context and what settings?

Yeah, so my dad's been very involved in the pro-life movement. In fact, he went before I was born.

He went to jail like 13 times doing pro-life stuff.

It was all sanctioned by the bishop. I would not recommend people go try that on their own.

But that was very much the backdrop of my discernment. And one year he was just like, hey, why don't

we do a benefit concert for one of the pregnancy centers in Houston? And so I'd been writing

songs since I was young. And so we did that concert.

I read all the music. And each year we've just kind of added more priests. We find priests all

of the country now who are just absolutely elite musicians. And it's become a really just fun way

to raise money for women in Christ's pregnancies. We had about 2,500 people come to the show in

Houston last year. And also become kind of an awesome vocations event, too. When you get six priests all playing music, it's just a lot of fun representing

a good cause. So social media, I mean, TikTok, concerts for life, this sort of thing,

you're obviously too busy to be a parish priest, except you are. No, in fact, my parish ministry is absolutely the focus of my life and is the vast
