0:08.8	We're going to be Mark Chapter 1 verse 29 so you can open your Bibles to that spot.
0:14.3	As we've seen already, the stuff that Jesus does,
0:16.8	recording in Mark, has lessons for us
0:19.2	about who Jesus is.
0:21.0	And that's part of what we're going to get here
0:22.4	in Mark chapter one.
0:23.2	This stuff is like a really big deal like last week we saw that Jesus cast out a demon
0:26.8	with a word and part of this is to prove the authority of who he is so that
0:31.5	his teachings are are seen as authoritative as they properly are because he's
0:36.1	bringing a new teaching with authority.
0:37.8	That's what the statement was.
0:39.4	We talked about the fulfillment of the Old Testament and unveiling of the New Covenant in His Blood.
0:43.6	That's like last week we talked about that kind of stuff.
0:45.6	This week we're going to take some different detours as we go through.
0:49.6	And this is what I promised to do in the Mark series.
