today is James Carball.

He's of course a long-time political strategy, probably the most famous living political

consultant in America.

Hard stop.

He's kind of a celebrity political consultant in various ways. He became famous as the chief strategist for Bill Clinton in

1992 and he's been advising Democrats ever since. The legendary strategist is now the subject of a new documentary on CNN called

Carvel. Winning is everything stupid. The film looks back on the Rage in

Cajun's life and career featuring interviews with Bill Clinton and his Republican now

Libertarian wife Mary Madeline I guess full disclosure I've considered them friends

in that you know, we're not going to Thanksgiving dinner, but I've broken bread with them numerous times, been to their house.

They're just very welcoming people, especially to fellow political junkies.

They love just BS and about politics wherever you go.

So you will enjoy this conversation with James.

By the way, he's got an op-ed in the New York Times this week

where he shares his three reason why he's quote,

certain Kamala Harris will win.
