who's welcome bartlett who is at redpoint vent, where he's a venture capitalist. Thanks for having me, dear. Thanks for joining. Did I get Red Point Ventures Correct? Red Point Ventures, yep. Okay, good. That is a VC firm that I used to deal with back in the day because they did a lot of web video stuff. Is that right? Yeah. How long ago was that? I remember 2008, 9-10.

Yeah, okay.

Red Point was like the hottest firm in the last internet bubble, right?

It was like 99, 2000.

IVP and Brentwood came together and like took all their best people and joined one firm.

And IVP, actually, people know this as another venture capital firm shut down

for like a year and then rebooted the whole thing, which is interesting. And so a lot of people

that I'll talk to, they're like, oh, I know Red Point. Like 99, 2000, like huge tech bubble. And

then it burst, right? And we were very media centric back then. And then when the bubble bursts and you're this high-profile thing, I think you kind of retrench for a little while and sort of keep quiet.

And so we kind of kept quiet for like 15 years-ish and just kind of went back to working with startups.

And we've obviously changed that a little bit now

but yeah interesting so now you're here i don't talk to a ton of vc's on this podcast at least
