He ran, co-founded, who founded the ringer, which he's now sold to spot by. Welcome, Bill.

Good to be here. Long time, no talk. It's been a while. We check in every couple years, because I'm

curious about you and your career, and you've moved from being an internet writer to a podcast guy

and now beyond um we're just doing the math you've done a thousand podcast of the if your main podcast

that's 2015 when you started the ringer yeah we launched um october 1st was the first day

i could start doing ringer stuff after my espin deal expired. And that was when the BS podcast launched. So yeah, initially, and I was trying to juggle it because I had the HBO show going. So we were probably like once or twice a week early. But then after the HBO show, really went to three times a week from the beginning of 2017 on.

So like I said, we talk every couple years and I was going back and looking at our old

conversations and the theme for a lot of them was like, is podcasting going to be a thing or

podcasting is a thing, but is it going to be a business or it should be a business, but it's not

a business yet.

You sold your company for about $200 million a couple

years ago, so it seems like it's a business. 250. 250. Got the number right. For some reason,

that number keeps getting reported around. But yeah, it was 250. It's in filings. I can look it up again.
