Mystery Hour with James O'Brien.

Oh, three minutes after 12, and it's that time of the week again.

Mystery Hour, which offers you an opportunity to achieve the sort of satisfaction,

not ordinarily available anywhere else on your radio dial.

If you have a question, a mystery, a conundrum that you know must have an answer,

but you are damned if you know what it is, then ring in and ask it,

and one of your fellow listeners, one of our brotherhood and sisterhood of listeners,

will hopefully provide the answer,

which means, of course, that if you hear somebody else ask a question to which you do know the answer,

then it'd be nice if you rang in and provided it.

Just by way of rules, there aren't really any left, but obviously you're not allowed to look stuff up.

This entire confection would be rendered ridiculous if you could just Google

a question and get yourself the answer. If you have looked something up in the past, like when

you were doing your homework or your degree, or just reading a book or watching the telly, that

that's fine, but you can't look anything up starting from now. Hey, I was good. We'll do that again.

That sounded almost deliberate, didn't you?

That definitely do that again.
