You are listening to Stand the Reason and thank you for doing so. Greg Kockel here, your host and I have in front of me a few open my calls that have been sitting here in front of me for a while I thought maybe it's a good

idea just to try to answer some of these and I'm so thankful for you those of you who

have either called those questions in or use the internet connection for that or website connection.

Open my calls or when you call or contact us through the internet and leave your

question verbally and then when we get around to it we'll play that question and I'll

respond to it. The only difference with a regular call is you and I don't interact, but at least

you can express your thoughts here and raise an issue if you want to and I can respond to it.

So here's a couple of things. Maybe these will go fast these first couple.

So let's start with Trent, okay? And this is a question about eternal generation, what has to do with the relationship

of the son to the father, I think. Hi, this is Trent Blake.

I had a question about the Athination Creed and how the believer should relate to it in authority.

Same thing with the Nicene Creed. It says whoever desires to be saved should above all

hold to the Catholic or lower case faith.

Anyone who does not keep it in whole

and unbroken will doubt this parish eternally.

So my question is from that,

if someone does not affirm every small point of the creed, does that mean

mean they are not saved.

And so this is the Catholic faith and it goes on to explain it.

But one thing that I actually do disagree with the Creed is in the 21st verse of the Creed it says,

The Father was Neither Made, nor Creed, the Father was neither made nor created, nor begotten from anyone, so far so good.
