Is Pride Month still a thing? Just a few years ago, Pride Month was such a hot reality in American culture.

And June was kind of a dreaded month for a lot of Christians and conservative

Americans. But something has happened over the last year or so with a lot of major corporations

choosing not to participate or at least signal their participation in Pride Month. In a very important

Washington Stand essay, Suzanne Bouty has published a piece entitled

Companies Scrap Over the Top Pride Plans to Escape June's Backlash for Business, a serious headline.

And the major point that Suzanne Bouty, a family research council, makes is exactly that,

that many companies are giving up on Pride Month. Well, I think this is a huge story,

and I actually think this is a really encouraging reality in terms of the grand game that we are

playing called cultural engagement as Christians. I'm speaking particularly from a Christian standpoint,

although I think many conservatives would agree. And I wanted to ask my dear friend David

Claussen, director of the Center for

Biblical World View at Family Research Council, if he would come on and give worldview commentary.

interesting day, but I really appreciate you being back on. I know you didn't write this essay.

Suzanne did, but David, thank you for coming on and speaking to it. Is this what you think it really is a

trend, what Bouty has highlighted? I do think it's a trend. Oh, and the data actually backs it up, and we can

probably get into some of that data. What's interesting, though, I think what prompted Suzanne's

piece is that major American news outlets, media outlets, including USA Today and Vox have actually run major stories
