We talk a lot about biblical complementarity, including on this podcast.

It's a frequent subject of grace and truth.

But how is biblical complementarity supposed to look?

What is this look when you're fleshing it out in terms of a man and a woman, a husband, and a wife?

Thankfully, the Bible gives us a beautiful picture in an Old Testament passage that you almost never hear preached or talked about in the Christian community.

It's 1st Samuel 25, the whole chapter. That's what we're going to cover today. And it's a

picture of how a godly woman named Abigail engages King David and turns what could have been an

absolutely terrible situation into one that glorifies God and blesses many. We're going to delve into

1st Samuel 25 today. And I think it's going to really

encourage us as biblical men, biblical women, by the grace of God, and living out our God-given
