I would like to share with you today why I'm overall not all the time but overall not afraid to try new things not to be

scared to be bad at something new not to mess something up from kind of big business moves

to even something as simple as cooking a steak.

One thing that I'd like to do more of this year is Cook at Home because I think it's a great way to actually unwind.

It's a great way to almost mock the end of a work day where it's okay like you know cooking

ingredients our French music on I love to play French music at home and like light a

candle and get into the zone using a different part of your brain that keeps you kind of active while also creating food exactly to your liking.

You decide how spicy it is, you decide how healthy it is or not, you decide exactly the meal that you

want and exactly how you want it to look and turn out.

So that's kind of one thing that I'm playing around with this year that I'm excited about. But even the other day, we started making these stakes. Now, stakes are, I think, tricky because people are very fussy about how they like their steaks cooked and

that is the same for my husband he's very particular about things not being overcooked

and I'm a bit grossed out if things are undercooked right but

anyway we got these steaks from Whole Foods and I was looking up Gordon Ramsey how he

cooks these specific steaks and I was testing it right so it's like okay got the

iron got the garlic got the rosemary got the time got the butter got all the

things in place to make these stakes now I have this weird wave of like oh I really don't want to mess

this up which now I've trained myself to quickly replace with hey look this is an

experiment it's cool like it's's probably gonna turn out pretty good.

This is the power of the mind, my friends.

We have power over our minds.

But the reason I'm not afraid to try new things, right, to get rejected, to mess up a stake, to even put out a podcast that isn't perfect, but you know, my heart is is real I'm sharing just truths from my heart
