The longest Psalm in the Bible is Psalm 119.

It has been called the Psalm of the Scriptures because it concentrates on one thing,

Today, I would like to tell you why I love the Bible.

Why do I love God's Word?

Well, I'm going to give you Bible answers to that question,

and they are all found in the section of Psalm 119 that begins with verse 97 and concludes with verse 104.

We looked at it just briefly the other day.

We looked at the exclamation points in it.

We looked at the emotion in it.

We love God's law, so we hate every false way.

But let's return to that section today, and let me walk you through it and show you three

the word of God. The section begins this way. Psalm 119, verse 97, oh, how love I thy law. That's quite a

statement, is it? Quite a declaration. I do love the word of God. May I tell you, the more time I spend in the

Bible, the more I come to love the Bible. Because the more time I spend in the Bible, the more I come to love the Bible.

Because the more time I spend in the Bible, the more I come to know about God. The deeper in

fellowship I come to the Lord. God's word is the way to walk with Him. But why would the

psalmist say that he loved God's law?
