Why I hate debt, I'm going to do a little series.

For the next several weeks, I'm going to give you all the reasons.

Maybe not a thorough, totally complete list, but I'm going to give you the high-level list for sure.

Why I hate debt every single Monday all through December.

Well, we could be talking about being merry and happy with holidays and spending and

delicious food and friends and family.

No, we're going to talk about debt and why I hate it.

Because sometimes in our quest to have everyone set their own priorities

to abstain from opinion, as it were,

I don't always share my thoughts. And being the adult that you are, I will let you take

my thoughts as you will. But I've thought a lot about this and I've boiled it down to a few reasons why I absolutely hate when people carry debt.

I've carried it myself, just to give you a little background, I carried it on a personal residence, paid that off, and then I started buying rental properties, I mean, a little here and there back in 2012 13 14 and carried very very

modest mortgages on those they cash flow very nicely because the mortgages were so

modest and then bought another, not another, you know, sold my personal house,

bought another one, had a mortgage on that one.

In the ensuing years, we've paid off all that.

The rentals paid off the mortgages, we paid off the house, and I'm back to no debt again, and

I love it. I'll debt again and I love it.

I'll tell you why I love it and that will frame the first portion which is why I hate it.

The reason dead is so lousy is because it takes away your cash.
