I am your host David Rothkoff. I'm here in very snowy New York City also here in New York City. We have Ryan Goodman. Have you been snowed in wherever you are?

Completely snow down David which is you know it's nice New York is kind of quiet.

I hear there's been a little bit of snow down there where Dr. Kavita Patel is. How much snow, Kavita?

About three inches in some parts, but as you know David that shut the city down. So yes,

it's two snowflakes in D.C. and there's chain collisions on the streets and yeah.

It's it's it's it's it's pretty much a disaster. We were gonna have a conversation with Congresswoman

Veronica Escobar and the House got involved in a debate and a vote in the committee she was involved in and so we're going to reschedule that.

But it does give us a chance as a group to go and sort of catch up on where things are.

Let me start out with just an observation that I made as shortly before we were starting here and just sort of get your reactions.

The Biden cabinet is filling out and the Biden cabinet is really interesting.

I mean it's really interesting. It's got more women in it than any cabinet in history.

It's I think two slots away from having gender parity.
