Asa Hutchinson says it's time for Republicans to move on from Donald Trump.

He did calling on the former president to suspend his campaign as he is arraigned in New York City

and facing investigations from prosecutors in Georgia and the U.S. Justice Department.

Hutchinson, the former two-term governor of Arkansas, is the newest

interest into the 2024 race. A field expected to grow is Republicans try to draw comparisons

and contrast to Trump, who remains the overwhelming front runner several months before the first

caucus and primary votes are cast. But Hutchinson says it isn't just the former president that

motivated his decision to seek higher office. He is also looking to reset the Republican party.
