Right, let's get into the Word of God.

On Sunday mornings, we're going through 1 Corinthians, chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

Today, our text will be chapter 11, verses 13 through 16.

I'll have you turn there at this time, and if you're able, I'll ask you to stand.

You can follow along as I read. If not, that's all right. Beginning in verse 13,

pardon me, the apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes, judge for yourselves. Is it proper for a woman

to pray to God with her head uncovered.

Does verse 14 not the very nature of things teach you

that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him?

But verse 15 that if a woman has long hair it is her glory for long hair is given to her

as a covering. If verse 16 anyone wants to be contentious about this we have no other practice

or better rendered in some of your translations we have no other practice or better rendered in some of your translations we

have no such practice nor do the churches of God let's pray if you would join

with me loving Heavenly Father were with great anticipation looking forward to that which you have for us this morning in your word

we're looking to you're looking to you to speak clearly into our lives through your word.

And Lord, when you do, we want to have ears that don't merely hear, but heed that which you minister to us today.

So Lord speak.
