So glad you're here. We're going through the Bible. Book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, we have reached the last book in the Bible,

the book of Revelation.

And today's text, Lord willing, we'll finish chapter 11, will be verses 14 through 19.

So what I'll do is ask you to stand.

No need if you don't want to, but if you're able and would like to, I'll ask you to stand as you follow along and I read the word.

This is again, as I mentioned last week, this comes out of the book of Ezra in the Old Testament, the standing for the reading of God's word.

But if you're more comfortable sitting, then please from where you're seated. Just follow along. Beginning in verse 14. Now, John,

by the spirit is continuing and writes, the second wall has passed. The third wall is coming soon.

The seventh angel, verse 15, sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said,

The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah and he will reign forever and ever and verse 16 the 24 elders the church who were seated on their thrones before God

fell on their faces and worship God saying verse, verse 17, we give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,

the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

The nations were angry, verse 18, and your wrath has come. The time has come

for judging the dead and for rewarding your servants, the prophets, and your people who revere your

name both great and small and for destroying those who destroy the earth.

Boy, verse 18 is pretty full.

Verse 19, then God's temple in heaven was open. Wow.

And within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. Oh,

that's where it is. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder,

an earthquake, and a severe hailstorm.
