0:08.0	This week we've got a weather double-headed with one of our go-to science reporters. This is Daniel Potter for Bay Curious.

0:30.0	They ventured out to the waterfront park in Berkeley to set the scene for us about bay area microclimates.
0:37.0	And it sort of overlooks the bay. You can see straight into downtown San Francisco.
0:42.6	You can see the Golden Gate Bridge.
0:44.0	You can see the Marin Headlands and Richmond
0:46.8	over yonder.
0:48.3	It's got really amazing views.
0:50.7	In a spot like this, you can often see a bunch of different types of weather just a few miles apart
0:56.6	where we're standing it is perfectly clear
1:00.8	But if you look across toward San Francisco, there's sort of the heavy clouds that are hanging down right. It looks like fog.
1:10.0	So I'm sure it's chillier over there. It's probably a little more overcast,
1:14.1	which is more to my taste.
1:15.7	The weather is different again if you're up on Mount Tam
1:18.6	or a few miles inland toward Concord.
1:21.5	Which brings us to this week's question-asker.
