Dr. Berg talks about the gallbladder in relationship to intermittent fasting. There’s something that occurs in the gallbladder when you do fasting. 10 to 15 hours of fasting, there will be a maximum saturation of bile in the gallbladder, the bile gets thick and sludgy or gallbladder sludge. This effect occurs only when you start doing intermittent fasting and as you do it longer, the body adapts.
