0:34.2	grocery store or wait on my luggage at the baggage claim. I don't like sitting at a
0:38.6	stoplight waiting for it to turn green. How good are you waiting? The Bible is full of people who waited.
0:46.0	Abraham waited 24 years between the time God promised him a child and Isaac was born.
0:51.7	Israel waited 400 years in slavery in Egypt, waiting on God to deliver
0:57.0	them. In Luke Chapter 2, we see a man named Simeon waiting for the Messiah.
1:02.6	Let me set the scene for you.
1:04.6	A week has passed since Mary gave birth,
1:06.9	and now Joseph, Mary, and Jesus are in Jerusalem.
1:09.9	They're going to the temple for Jesus' circumcision.
1:13.4	The circumcision was supposed to take place on the eighth day of life, and it was at the same time
1:19.2	that the baby was officially given a name.
1:22.0	So, Luke 221.
1:24.0	On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child,
