Right now we're in our Christmas series.

We're exploring the stories around Jesus birth and the prophecies pointing forward to it.

Sometimes my head gets cluttered with good noise. I listen to

podcasts on how to make a decision, sometimes new technology or how to

organize my closet in my life.

I usually have an audiobook in the car on some sort of improvement or awareness topic,

unless it's a long drive and then I listen to something related to a beach or a good love story.

I look at product reviews and gift guides,

and I check in on Twitter to see what's happening in the world

for the better and the worse.

We have access to lots of good information, and unless we work at it,

silence is hard to come by. But can we have so many experts and voices that we're

listening to, that we clutter our brains away from listening to the best thing.

What I've loved about doing this series in the birth of Christ and the prophecies

is that we're looking at verses and passages that we might have heard many, many times so much so that we

know the words better than we know the significance.

But surely each detail and each person was incredibly significant in God's story.

And it's been so fun and refreshing to look at how beautiful
