This is LBC from Global, leading Britain's conversation, Mystery Hour with James O'Brien.

Three minutes after 12 is the time, and this is it, your weekly opportunity to achieve the sort of satisfaction, not ordinarily available anywhere else.

On your radio dial, the way it works is this.

You have a little mystery currently marauding or meandering around the back of your brain.

A who, a why, a what, a where, or when, or whither or perhaps a wherefore.

And you want satisfaction. You want an answer. You know there will be an answer out there,

but because like me, you somehow regret the tyranny of the search engine and look back fondly upon the days when you had to know stuff in order to say stuff and sound clever.

Somebody else listening to the programme will have the knowledge that you seek.

So you ring in and ask the question, and they will ring in and answer it.

The only rule is you're not allowed to look stuff up.

It's a celebration of education, elucidation, illumination. And the other rule is you're not

allowed to be dull, but that's very much in the eye of the beholder. Not unlike the conversation

that we had during the last hour. And you will permit me to say the last word on the conversation that we had during the last

hour. There are realists from a Twitter called Legal Clarit, who's very strong on legal matters,

as you expect, presumably very strong Clarit as well, but I haven't had much experience of that.

So Legal Clarit has tweeted. There are only two possibilities here. Danny Baker deliberately posted a racist image comparing a baby to a monkey,

or he posted an image without realising the connotations.

While naive and stupid, I am happy to believe the latter.

And that is my position in a nutshell.

Coupled with my conviction that the BBC had no choice but to dismiss him, a conviction

with which Danny Baker agreed on this programme a few minutes ago, albeit with a very aggrieved

attitude to the manner and the tone in which they chose to do so. Something which I suspect
