Well, if you have a piece of paper, pull it out, or if you don't have a piece of paper, pull it out, or if you don't have that, pull out your phone

and just flip to the notes section.

This is something that I've done before.

I'll probably do it about once a year.

My commitment to you is I won't do it more than once a year, but you can probably expect it once a year.

So if you've got a piece of paper, you got the

notes section on your phone, pull it out, and just write your birth date and then put a dash,

and then the average lifespan of a human being is about 80 years. And so just go ahead and

figure out your expiration date. Your birth date, a dash, and then your expiration date. Jesus loves you. Aren't you glad you came to break away tonight?

But as you figure that out, what I want you to do is I want you to take a look at that dash, because that dash is where you're at in life right now. You have a birth date. There's an expiration day. We're not sure when it's coming, but right now you are in the midst of that dash. God has given you that dash as your life. And we don't know how long it is. Some of us, some of you are a fourth of a way through your dash. Some of us are halfway through our dash.

Others of us are three-fourths of the way through our dash.

We have no clue where we're at on that dash.

All we know is that we have that one little span of existence.

And as you look at that dash, a good question for everyone in this world to ask is why does my dash exist like why am i even

here that's a great question for you to ask you know what the crazy thing is the crazy thing is that a

bunch of people go through life and they ask that question,

why do I exist?

Why am I here?

What's the point of my life?
