To me one of the most pressing eternal on my mind questions that I've had since I was very, very

young since I can remember is this, why do we act the way we do? Right? You'll see different people in

the same life situation and notice that they behave very differently.

You'll see that maybe there's a life change or a shift

something that happens and some people will freak out

and some people will embrace the change. I remember actually when the last

startup in the tech world that I worked for was purchased by a Fortune 500 company.

So many people were excited like, wow, what does this expansion mean? How can we

collaborate? This is a lot of opportunity. Like, oh, where to from here? This is so exciting.

And others were threatened they were like are they going to fire us after this acquisition nothing is safe I don't want to

mingle with the with the people at that company because we're the tech startup and we're cooler we're different

we're separate. It was so interesting to me because the the company that bought the startup was called, as you know, well you know this company,

AOL. And AOL actually owns the Huffington Post. And my first thought was, wow, I'll get to work with the Huffington Post.

I'm going to create content for them.

I'm going to write for the Huffington Post because now we're all part of one company,

Hallelujah. What a gift. And I thought to myself, especially when I heard

the more scared comments, you know, like, oh, I don't know, like what's going to happen?

Are we all going to be, you know, just, you know, kick to the car, are we all going to be you know just you know

kick to the car but they're going to be getting rid of us I remember just

thinking what do I want out of this like what could be good about this for me in
