Welcome to the conversations that matter podcast. My name is John Harris. Very quick

0:17.3

episode today. I want to talk to you about a video someone sent me. So this is

0:22.3

actually two messages I got in a row from

0:25.0

different patrons on Patreon. One sent me this link to a video that Founders Ministries put

0:31.2

out, it's very short, a guy named Graham Gundin who works for founders or

0:36.5

with Founders Ministries and he is he articulates the argument for staying in the Southern Baptist Convention and he does it well and it's the argument that I've heard over and over and over

1:28.1

1:31.5

1:35.2

smaller and smaller segments until you're so fractured it's

1:39.6

ridiculous and of course this is what Catholics break Protestants for too. I don't know if

1:45.1

they're doing that so much these days but this is the this is the trend for

1:51.7

at least the last century really more than that the last two

1:57.2

centuries at least you see this trend and so the question is why why this

2:02.0

trend what what brings this about I want to take a And so the question is why this trend?
