Something didn't feel right when this member of Bachelor Nation posted about his breakup on Instagram at like 6 in the morning a couple of days ago.

I was in the studio when I saw this drop and it was such a bizarre post that I

honestly didn't believe it at first and everyone was kind of on the same page as me. So I'm talking

about former bachelor Matt James and he was on the show about four or five years ago. It was

kind of during the end of the pandemic. So they had one of those weird seasons where they were just

kind of sequestered in a resort and they did the season there. And he ended up with the woman that he chose at the end.

Her name is Rachel Kirkconnell. And they've had this really sweet relationship on social

media for the last four or five years. They traveled together. They post a lot of like foodie

influencer content. And they were actually in the middle of one of their trips

when all of this went down so they were in london or they at least appeared to be in london

when this all happened because they were posting about like some pizza place in london and

you know he's posting these really like cute sweet videos of her like eating the pizza and oh my god

they're so cute and they're in

love and you know, they're traveling the world together. How awesome we want to be them.

And then the next day, he posts on Instagram this crazy, it sounded honestly like he was possessed.

He posted an Instagram post where he explained that he and Rachel had actually broken up, but he did it

under the guise of like a prayer. So I'm going to read it to you because it does feel a little

dystopian. We did know that he was somewhat religious, but his content was never like,
