In this episode of our program, we're going to take a look at the fuse.

One of the historical fuses that is burning up toward the appearance of Jesus from a new book

I have written called Person of Interest.

In this book, I'm trying to talk about what we can learn about Jesus just from the fuse

of history that leads up to the appearance of Jesus and the fallout of history that follows

the appearance of Jesus.

And I will tell you that this is kind of the perfect companion piece to Cold Case Christianity

my first book, because while cold-case Christianity looks at everything inside the crime scene

of the New Testament, looks at the gospel accounts to determine whether or not they are

reliable depictions or reliable accounts, reliable eyewitness accounts related to the life,

ministry, death, crucifixion of Jesus and resurrection of Jesus, and how do you even know using

cold-case techniques that these gospel accounts are reliable eyewitness accounts?

And then what we're doing in cold case is looking at everything, what we're doing in

Person of Interest, is looking at everything outside the gospels.

So these two books have been written to kind of be a one-two punch for the reliability

of the gospel accounts and what they say about Jesus because cold-case looks at everything

inside the accounts and Person of Interest looks at everything outside the accounts.
