Let's just recap, shall we, upon the situation regarding sanctions. It is two days

since the Foreign Secretary Liz, I tell a lie, three days it was on Monday, since the Foreign

Secretary Liz Trust repeated a briefing that had been punted out by Downing Street about a week ago,

that the reason why they couldn't sanction Russian oligarchs on the sort of scale that was needed was because of, and they even use this word in the briefings given out to friendly journalists,

remainer members of the House of Lords complicating the sanctions legislation during post-Brexit debates and post-Brexit redrawing of bills.

I know we're running out of space to list all the evidence of the disingenuousness and downright

deceit that's punted on a daily basis by this government.

But Liz Trust sat in front of the select committee on Monday and claimed that they couldn't sanction people like Romana Bramovich and Oleg Deripaska.

I don't know whether they were cited specifically because their hands had been tied by remainer members of the House of Lords complicating the legislation that was necessitated by the Brexit that was, of course, championed by
