Summary
When they moved into an older home just outside the city, they expected the usual problems—cosmetic repairs, minor structural fixes, the kind of work that comes with a house that’s been sitting empty. At first, that’s exactly what it seemed like.
But nothing they fixed stayed fixed.
Walls they repaired began to peel again within days. Floors they reinforced softened without explanation. Small problems returned in ways that didn’t line up with anything they could find behind the walls or beneath the structure. At the same time, something else began to change—subtle at first, then harder to ignore.
After a failed attempt to have the house blessed, everything shifted.
What followed didn’t feel like bad luck or overlooked damage. It felt deliberate. Like something inside the house was pushing back against every attempt to make it livable… and wasn’t done yet.
