Well, let's open our Bibles today. We're going to look at a few things, and let's come into faith together,

just to agree with me as I pray. Father God, we do pray over this word today, Lord, and over this sermon,

Lord, that it be the words of God, not the words of man, Lord, that you give us open and receptive hearts,

to hear in love, to think in love, to receive

by your love, and to give through your love, Lord, that we, by faith, receive everything from you

that you would have for us today, that we leave nothing unfinished but that we hear clearly

and know your truth. And it it changes us and from this day forth

we'll never be the same again and we thank you for it in jesus name amen glory to god

let's start in uh psalm 19 title of sermon today is, why did I do that?

Sounds worse than it is.

You know, so many times it's not what we do.

In fact, let me rephrase that all the time.

It's not what we do.

It's why we do it.

God never looks at the action.

He always looks at the heart behind the action.

Right?

This is why David was king.

God didn't look at his, he didn't look at who he was right then.

He looked at the ability within him, and he looked at the things he would do.

Amen?

He looked at who he made him to be. He looked at him and he saw at the things he would do. Amen? He looked at who he made him to be.
