I'm your host Corey Muscarra and in today's episode I'm going to share a quote that I saw scrolling through Facebook today that I think might be poignant for what we're all experiencing in the age of COVID-19.

More to come on that in a moment, but first, let's settle in with the sound of the bells. Okay, so we're continuing with the theme of episodes related to COVID-19 and some of the

changes and challenges were all facing and as always if you're listening to this at a time that is distant from when

this is being recorded or it doesn't feel relevant just see if you can hear all of

this through the lens of what you might be going through in your life or know you could go through in your life.

As I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, just hearing and seeing all the different updates from people.

Periodically there are some nice quotes going around or images or stories.

And there was one that stood out to me

that I wanted to share here in case you didn't see it.

It's by Kitty O'Mira.

The quote says, and the people stayed home and read books and listened and

rested and exercised and made art and played games and learned new ways of being and

were still and listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows.

And the people began to think differently, and the people people healed and in the absence of people living

in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed and the people joined together again,

they grieved their losses and made new choices

and dreamed new images and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully as they

had been healed.

So notice how that lands for you.

I remember when I saw that and read that something and it just made me feel more settled and grounded and also hopeful.

It gives meaning to some of what we're all experiencing and the big shifts that we're all going through.
