Summary

In today’s episode, I sit down with Blaine Bartlett to talk about why big results are built through small, repeatable actions instead of massive breakthrough moments. We discuss how consistency creates momentum, why forgiveness matters when we fall off track, and the difference between chasing motivation versus building true devotion to a purpose. Blaine shares insights on discipline, focus, and the power of aligning daily habits with a bigger vision, while I break down how small adjustments can create massive long-term change. We also explore why overthinking creates resistance, how momentum reduces overwhelm, and why success is ultimately shaped by the choices we repeat every day.

Turn small actions into big results is a big part of what I coach teach and mentor in

0:06.8

understanding the small things. It's very Napoleon Hill-esque and Dow-esque. One of the first

0:13.5

lessons or verses of the Dow talks about the journey of a thousand steps, starts with one step,

0:20.0

a small step. We often underestimate, I would say,

0:23.8

how much the small things that we do shape our future. Big results are rarely created by one

0:31.1

massive moment. They're built through consistent decisions and behaviors repeated over time.

0:36.6

A single workout doesn't transform our

0:38.8

health. One follow-up doesn't build a business, and one conversation certainly doesn't create a

0:43.7

relationship. But it's the repetitive, consistent, persistent pursuit in these small actions

0:49.9

compounding into extraordinary outcomes. I want to talk to you today about this, Blaine, that success

0:57.2

is not built in one moment. It's built in the moments we repeat daily. How do you think we do

1:04.4

create momentum to maintain this process of creation with small wins.

1:11.6

What does small winds build for us that creates these big outcomes?

1:15.6

Yeah, this was actually a question that we had in the Q&A,

1:20.6

or a version of the question that we had in the Q&A.

1:23.6

The key here is that it is small.

1:28.0

It truly, that is the key.

1:30.4

It is a small step that is bite size, that is doable.

1:36.6

And over time, if I consistently work with it, it does create momentum.

1:42.5

And the metaphor that comes to mind is it's impossible to turn a parked car. I mean, not impossible, but it's difficult. If you can get that car moving a little bit, it becomes much easier to get it to change direction, particularly, I mean, if you're pushing it. So those small steps that create motion, and then the creation of motion, you now have momentum.

2:08.7

And then you just keep it, you know, keep it going.

2:11.6

So that's the value, I think, of small steps.
