December and what a wild ride it's been for the industry this year. Before we get into the details,

just take a moment to reflect on 2025 for me and the accomplishments you were able to make

over on the Hill. Well, it was such an amazing start to the year. It was exactly a year ago that

I was elected by the Republicans

in the House to serve as 119th Congresses, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee,

and my friend Tim Scott was selected to do that for the United States Senate. So we met really

just around the December and January timeframe with an idea of how could we prioritize

moving clear, badly needed legislation to support innovation in this country promptly through the

House. And I told Tim at that time, I believe that we can get both a stable coin legislation
