week. We will discuss why Carnell Tate could be a viable option for the Jets with the second overall

pick. I'll give you the ideal trade-down scenario for the Jets in the first round, but we'll start

by talking about why positional value really should not be a major consideration for the Jets as they make their

decision what to do with the second overall pick. Our first question, John, I understand

positional value is a real thing, but so is the lack of talent on this roster from top to bottom.

If we traded back from two, would you be on board with drafting, Jeremiah Love, Caleb Downs,

or Sunny Stiles somewhere later on, maybe 48, maybe 8 to 10?

Which draft slot would be considered too high for a player at a non-premium position?

And who would you really want?

So that's a great question.

And this is part of the challenge this year for the New York Jets in the NFL draft.

And this is something we've talked a lot about over the last couple of months.

When the season ended, it seemed like the Jets would either be in position to take a quarterback

or get a big trade package moving down for a team that wanted to move up from a quarterback.

That quarterback, of course, was Dante Moore.

When the season ended, he seemed like the consensus number two overall pick.
