The Bert Show time to get buzzed on the hot goss from Hollywood with Abby. It's the

Bert Show's entertainment bus. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith say they've been separated

for seven years. So why not just divorce? So we got this news yesterday, literally

at the tail end of the show because Jada Pinkett Smith has been promoting her new memoir worthy

and she revealed that since 2016 they have been living separate lives. They don't call

each other husband and wife and private. So that's why she was so shocked when the Oscars

came around when will so publicly called her his wife.

All right, so I know it's it's early and it's hard to get you guys on the phone because

you're super super busy, but I'm really curious like if we opened up the Bert Show's book

of records, who was either separated or divorced the longest and your family and nobody knew

about it. Okay, it's kind of early, but let's try one eight five five virtue. Okay, so she's

been doing she's been doing all these promotional interviews and was recently on the today's

show with Hota Kotby and Hota asked the obvious question. She's like, you know, if you've

been separated for this long, at what point do you just decide to get a divorce? But you're

essentially divorced without having the paperwork to say your divorce, right? It doesn't

make a lot of sense to me, but I don't feel healthy. It's awesome. These feel like to

me, like the marriages and the couples that are so proud that they've been together for

30 years, but they've hated each other for 27, but they're staying together because they

made that promise, but miserable. I know it's, I can see how it's somewhat honorable

because like she said, when she went to the Oscars, she and her mind was attending that

function as a family with will sort of as a team rather than like husband and wife.
