A professor, artist, author, philosopher and filmmaker—Nathan Jacobs is Scholar in Residence of Philosophy and Religion in the Religion in the Arts in Contemporary Culture Program based in Vanderbilt University Divinity School. Metropolitan K.P. Yohannan is the author of dozens of books and the founder/president of GFA World—formerly Gospel for Asia—one of the largest outreach organizations in the world that focuses primarily on the 10-40 window in India and Asia. Metropolitan Yohannan is also the head of Believers Eastern Church. 0:28.6	and friends that I met as a direct result of my conversion to orthodoxy.
0:36.8	And today I want to talk to my friends, and I'll introduce them in a
0:40.8	second, about why we're Christians. And then maybe talk about why we're Orthodox Christians as
0:48.9	well. Let me say that the privilege of being with Nathan Jacobs and Metropolitan K.P. Yohanan is quite an extraordinary privilege.
1:04.3	Because sitting here next to me in a red cassock is a man that is perhaps the preeminent voice over many, many decades of mission.
1:25.7	I think it was St. John Chrysostom that said of St. Ignatius of Antioch,
1:31.3	that he was a soul-seathing divine eras.
1:36.2	And when I think of my friend, Metropolitan, I think about that very thing.
1:41.5	A soul-seathing divine eras, a man whose heart literally bleeds for those who have not heard
1:51.7	the name of Jesus Christ. A lot of Metropolitan KP's work is done in what's called the 1040 window, a swath that encompasses maybe 1.6
2:06.9	plus million people, the vast majority of whom have never heard the name of Jesus Christ.
2:16.0	Metropolitan has given his life to reaching out to the least
2:22.3	of these in that part of the world. And that's never stopped him from wanting to extend that reach
2:31.3	beyond that, that area of the world.
2:36.5	Places like Sub-Saharan Africa and Metropolitan K.P. Johanan also written the definitive
2:44.0	work on mission. It's called a revolution in world mission, a book that I know you've read.
2:51.2	It's impacted your life.
2:52.8	It's impacted my life.
2:54.1	But it's literally impacted the lives of millions of people, and it's impacted the way in
3:00.0	which missions have been performed worldwide, how the name of Jesus Christ goes out to the world, not just in terms
3:12.4	of the proclamation of the gospel, but meeting the needs of people who are so desperate,
